FAAN Urges Early Arrival for Lagos Airport Terminal Reconstruction

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has advised passengers traveling through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos to arrive early due to the commencement of reconstruction on the international terminal. The reconstruction project, costing N712 billion, aims to modernize the terminal and improve passenger experience.

FAAN emphasized the need for early arrival to avoid delays, as the construction may impact travel processing times. The agency also highlighted the provision of alternative access ways for departing and arriving passengers during the reconstruction period to ensure smooth traffic flow.

The project has been approved by the federal government to address technical deficiencies in the existing terminal structure.
