Falana Urges Tinubu to Demand Apology from Wike Over Naval Officer Comments

Human rights lawyer Falana called on President Bola Tinubu to compel Minister Nyesom Wike to publicly apologize for derogatory comments made towards a naval officer during a land dispute in Abuja. Falana criticized Wike's behavior and highlighted the need for respect for public officials.

He also questioned the government's lack of concern for Senator Ik Ekweremadu's detention in the UK. Falana emphasized the importance of embracing legal technology and defending democratic values.

The event, organized by the Law Student Association of Nigeria, honored Falana with a senior advocate title.
