Family Alleges Political Attacks on Pastor's Brother

The family of Pastor Osazee Clement Osayomore, founder and General Overseer of Wind of Change Ministry and former deputy governorship candidate of the People’s Party of Nigeria (PPN), has raised concerns over alleged attacks on his brother, Wellington Orobosa Osayomore. Miss Tina Osayomore, the pastor’s younger sister, reported that Wellington has gone into hiding following a series of attacks attributed to suspected political thugs.

The most recent attack occurred on May 20, 2026, when assailants allegedly invaded Wellington's home at No. 7 Faith Lane, off Ekenwan Road, Ugbiyokho, where he was severely assaulted. He narrowly escaped by fleeing through a window, sustaining serious injuries.

Tina claimed that this attack was not isolated, citing previous attempts on Wellington's life, including one that resulted in a broken leg and hospitalization. The family has reported these incidents to the police, alleging that the attacks are intended to intimidate Pastor Clement Osayomore, who has also received threats due to his political activities.
