Family Seeks N17M for Baby's Urgent Heart Surgery

The family of three-month-old Adegbite Robiah urgently requires N17 million for corrective heart surgery due to a complex congenital heart defect diagnosed shortly after her birth on May 9, 2026. An echocardiography report from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, dated July 2, 2026, revealed multiple heart issues, including a complete atrioventricular septal defect and Trisomy 21.

Her cardiologist has recommended surgery before she turns six months old on November 9, 2026, and referred the family to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex for the procedure. As of now, the family has raised only N2,090,000, leaving a shortfall of nearly N15 million.

They are also considering a second option through the Kanu Heart Foundation for treatment in India at an estimated cost of N14 million. Despite widespread social media appeals, donations have been insufficient.

The family has made all medical documents available for verification by potential donors.
