Family Appeals for N17m for Baby's Urgent Heart Surgery

Adegbite Robiah, a three-month-old baby born on May 9, 2026, urgently needs corrective heart surgery estimated at N17 million due to a complex congenital heart defect diagnosed at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, on July 2, 2026. The diagnosis revealed a complete atrioventricular septal defect (balanced), Rastelli type A, along with several other heart issues.

Her father, Abass Ayoife Adegbite, stated that the cardiologist recommended surgery before Robiah turns six months old on November 9. The family is considering two treatment options: one at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex and another through the Kanu Heart Foundation for treatment in India.

They have raised only N900,000 so far and are appealing to Nigerians, organizations, and philanthropists for urgent financial support to cover the surgery costs before the deadline. All medical documents are available for verification by potential donors.
