Father Traces Missing Daughter to Abuja After 2 Years in Alleged Abduction Case

In a legal case in Jigawa State, a father, Ifeanyi Onyewuenyi, was accused of abducting his daughter, Walida Abdulhadi, who was missing for two years before being traced to Abuja. The daughter was allegedly subjected to forced religious conversion, sexual assault, and subsequent pregnancy and childbirth.

Kabiru Adamu, the victim's representative, filed a motion in court to compel Onyewuenyi's arrest. The court granted the motion, directing the police to apprehend the suspect and conduct a thorough investigation.

The Department of State Services (DSS) was also ordered to release the victim and reunite her with her family.
