Fatosa Plans Innovation Hubs to Empower Kogi West Youth

Muyiwa Fatosa, a candidate for the Nigeria Democrat Congress in Kogi West, has committed to establishing innovation and creative hubs across seven local government areas within the senatorial district. This initiative aims to empower young people and drive digital transformation in the region.

Fatosa proposed the creation of a technology entrepreneurship hub designed to equip thousands of youth with the necessary skills to compete in the global digital economy. The hubs will offer training in artificial intelligence, digital skills, and will include modern ICT laboratories, media podcast studios, creative art facilities, co-working spaces, and business support services.

The initiative seeks to address youth unemployment by providing practical knowledge and creating opportunities for innovative entrepreneurship and self-reliance. Fatosa emphasized that the centers are not merely for graduates but also for artisans and aspiring entrepreneurs, aiming to nurture new generations capable of building sustainable businesses and creating jobs.
