Adeleke Slams Fayose Over False Claims on PDP Leadership

Dare Adeleke, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has strongly criticized former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, labeling him a "political jobber" and "errand boy." Adeleke asserts that Fayose is unaware of the discussions between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Governor Seyi Makinde concerning a potential vice presidential ticket with the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He dismisses Fayose's recent claims as desperate fabrications aimed at maintaining relevance.

Adeleke specifically faults Fayose for spreading misinformation on social media regarding Makinde's visit to Atiku, which he claims was to negotiate a deal worth N10 billion. He accuses Fayose of attempting to undermine the PDP and labels his behavior as disgraceful, stating that no former two-term governor has sunk so low in Nigeria's political history.

Adeleke emphasizes Makinde's rising status within the PDP and predicts a bleak political future for Fayose and his ally, Nyesom Wike.
