FCSC Workshop Aims to Transform Nigeria's Civil Service

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), led by Chairman Prof. Tunji Olaopa, is organizing a workshop in Abuja to engage stakeholders in its strategic plan aimed at transforming the commission into a modern organization.

This initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu's agenda to enhance the efficiency and transparency of the federal bureaucracy, facilitating growth and increasing private sector participation in Nigeria's economy. The strategic plan, which will be developed for the years 2026 to 2030, is set to be presented to the Federal Executive Council for approval by December 2025.

The workshop aims to build a shared understanding among internal stakeholders, including directors, senior officers, and union leaders, to ensure effective implementation of the plan. Key objectives include deepening stakeholder participation, reviewing the implementation roadmap, and identifying critical enablers for sustainable strategic initiatives.
