Bwari PDP Candidate Steps Down for APC Rival Ahead of Elections

In a significant political move, Julius Adamu, the chairmanship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the Bwari area council, has announced his decision to step down in favor of Joshua Ishaku Musa Adamu, the candidate from the All Progressives Congress (APC). This announcement was made just less than 72 hours before the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) area council elections.

The decision was influenced by consultations with Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, who emphasized the importance of unity and avoiding conflict between the two candidates, who are brothers. Julius Adamu urged supporters to back Joshua Ishaku Musa Adamu, highlighting the need for collaboration to ensure a successful election outcome.

He expressed confidence that Joshua would win the election, encouraging voters in Bwari to support him.
