PDP Candidate Dantani Withdraws for APC's Maikalangu

Hon. Zadna Dantani, the chairmanship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), has officially stepped down from the race in favor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Christoph Zakka Maikalangu.

Dantani's withdrawal was confirmed through a formal letter submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He expressed gratitude for the support received and emphasized that the decision was made for the greater good rather than personal interest.

Dantani attributed his choice to the intervention of Barrister Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), who reminded party members of their brotherhood and the importance of supporting good governance. Dantani called for mass support across the 12 wards of AMAC for Maikalangu, highlighting the need for unity in the electoral process.
