FCT Police Ensures Safety for UTME Candidates Amid Exams

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Ahm Sanusi, has assured candidates of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of their safety throughout the examination period. In a statement issued on Thursday, the command emphasized its commitment to maintaining law and order, warning that any attempts to disrupt the examination process would be met with decisive action in accordance with the law.

The assurance follows CP Sanusi's inspection of security deployments across computer-based test centers. During this inspection, he evaluated the security arrangements in place to protect candidates and ensure the integrity of the examination process.

Additionally, the command urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities. This directive aligns with the orders from Inspector General of Police Olutunji Disu, who has deployed rapid response teams to examination centers nationwide to facilitate a hitch-free examination experience.
