Kuje LG Chair Shekwolo Distributes Fertilizer to Farmers

On Monday, Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, the chairman of Kuje area council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, initiated the distribution of 10,000 bags of fertilizer to farmers across the 10 political wards of Kuje. This initiative aims to assist farmers in the current farming season and enhance agricultural productivity.

Shekwolo urged farmers to utilize the fertilizer effectively to boost food security and emphasized the importance of agriculture to the local economy. He stated that his administration is committed to supporting farmers, improving education, promoting sanitation, and enhancing infrastructure.

Additionally, he flagged off the distribution of 10 waste bins to strategic locations in Kuje to improve public health and sanitation, calling on residents to take responsibility for maintaining cleanliness in their communities. One beneficiary, Danlami Luka, expressed gratitude for the support and assured proper use of the provided materials.
