Kuje Area Council Chair Focuses on Infrastructure Development

Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, the executive chairman of Kuje Area Council, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development and improved service delivery through an inspection of ongoing road and drainage projects. The inspection focused on projects initiated by the previous administration, assessing work progress, identifying challenges, and ensuring that projects deliver meaningful benefits to residents.

Accompanied by contractors, legislators, cabinet members, council officials, and journalists, Shekwolo inspected various locations including Dafara, Sauka, Lanto, and the Prison Command axis in Kuje. He expressed determination to sustain and complete ongoing projects rather than abandon them, highlighting the importance of continuity in governance for sustainable development.

Shekwolo stated that roads and drainage infrastructure are critical for socio-economic development, addressing issues like accessibility, erosion, and flooding, while improving living conditions. He directed contractors to maintain required standards and ensure work progresses according to specifications and timelines.
