Residents Praise Troops for Combatting Terrorism and Sabotage

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Nasarawa State expressed their appreciation for the Nigerian Armed Forces' efforts in combating terrorism, banditry, and economic sabotage during a rally organized by the Community Security and Economic Development (CSED) group. Community leader Aliyu Makama stated that the troops deserve recognition for their sacrifices in confronting multiple security challenges while protecting critical national assets.

Gbenga Ok highlighted the military's anti-crude oil theft operations, which have significantly improved the nation's economy by safeguarding revenue that would otherwise be lost to criminal networks. Taiwo Abiodun, the event organizer, called for unity among residents to foster socio-economic development and urged them to support security agencies by providing credible information to assist ongoing operations.

Chief of Defence Staff General Olufemi Oluyede was commended for the dedication of military personnel deployed across the country, who continue to achieve success against various threats, including oil theft and kidnapping.
