Police Arrest Suspects in Murder of Ex-OGTV Worker

The Ogun State Police Command arrested three suspects linked to the murder of Olakitan Oyesiku, a former worker at Ogun State Television (OGTV). The suspects, identified as Sodeind Olajuwon Philip (22), Sakirudeen Abdulraheem Ayoola (27), and Sobu Obafunsho (36), were apprehended following a thorough forensic investigation.

The incident occurred on June 20, 2026, at Oyesiku's residence in Agodo Town, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area. The police reported that the suspects attacked Oyesiku after a dispute regarding unpaid wages.

They overpowered security guard Pelumi Adetayo (38) to gain access to the residence. A handwritten note left at the crime scene provided crucial evidence that aided the investigation.

Following the arrests, Olajuwon confessed to his involvement and disclosed that he had recruited the other two suspects to carry out the murder as a "lesson" for Oyesiku. The suspects are now in custody and will face charges in court.
