Wike: FCT Projects to Boost APC Votes in 2027 Elections

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, expressed optimism that the ongoing infrastructure projects in the FCT will sway votes in favor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2027 general elections. During an inspection of several projects scheduled for inauguration to mark President Bola Tinubu's second year in office, Wike emphasized the visible impact of government initiatives, particularly in satellite towns and rural communities that previously lacked basic infrastructure.

He noted that citizens desire tangible improvements in their living conditions. Wike pointed out that the APC's performance in recent area council elections reflects growing support for the administration.

He mentioned that at least 20 projects would be inaugurated during the anniversary celebrations, including roads in various areas such as Kwali and Gwagwalada. Wike also highlighted the completion status of several judicial infrastructure projects, indicating a commitment to enhancing living conditions across both urban and rural parts of the FCT.
