Egor LG Chairman Affirms Adequate Federal Allocation

Osaro Eribo, the chairman of Egor Local Government Area in Edo State, expressed confidence that the monthly federal allocations are adequate for the council's operations. He noted that these allocations enable the council to pay workers' salaries and embark on two new projects each month during his five-month tenure.

Eribo emphasized that the council has been able to work vigorously due to timely salary payments. He mentioned that the current monthly federal allocations allow for project initiation, stating that without such allocations, the council would struggle to undertake projects.

He also discussed the importance of collaboration with the Edo State Government to block revenue leakages and enhance internal revenue generation. Eribo described himself as one of the luckiest chairmen, as he has received grading equipment from the state government, which will facilitate road grading in three wards.

He assured the community that they would see the impact of this equipment on local infrastructure.
