Nigeria Launches N25 Million Happy Woman Empowerment Programme to Boost Women Entrepreneurs

The Federal Government of Nigeria has introduced the N25 million Happy Woman Empowerment Programme alongside the Happy Woman app, a digital platform aimed at connecting Nigerian women with financial and digital skills training as well as business support. The initiative seeks to enhance women's participation in entrepreneurship and employment in Nigeria's evolving economy.

Additionally, the Bank of Industry (BOI) and the National Credit Guarantee Company (NCGC) have partnered to launch a credit programme to support women entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
