FG Approves 18 New Programs for Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially approved 18 new programs for Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, a decision communicated through a letter dated February 20, 2026, signed by Dr. Fatima Kabir Umar on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Polytechnic Board, Prof.

Idri Moham Bugaj. This approval follows a resource inspection and accreditation visit conducted in January 2026.

Abdullahi Ibrahim Shehu, the protocol division manager at the Polytechnic, stated that this accreditation marks a pivotal moment for the institution, enabling it to broaden its admissions and provide enhanced technical vocational education to a wider range of students. The accreditation underscores the commitment of the Polytechnic's rector, Engr.

Dr. Moham Kabir Abdullahi, to maintain high standards in technical education, which will further help produce skilled graduates who can effectively contribute to national development.

The newly approved programs are designed to address emerging industry needs and equip students with specialized knowledge and practical skills in diverse fields of national interest.
