FG Approves ₦6 Billion Education Intervention Fund for Nigerian Tertiary Institutions

The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the disbursement of a ₦6 billion education intervention fund to 271 tertiary institutions across the country. The fund, managed by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), aims to support infrastructure, research, and academic development.

The Education Minister emphasized the importance of timely project implementation and adherence to guidelines. The fund will prioritize research and innovation, with a focus on partnerships with industries and commercializing research outputs.
