FG Approves Recruitment of 350 Staff for UNILAG's 56th Convocation

The Federal Government has sanctioned the hiring of 350 academic and non-teaching staff at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) due to a manpower shortage. UNILAG's Vice Chancellor, Professor Folashade Ogunsola, revealed this ahead of the institution's 56th convocation where 16,506 students will graduate.

The convocation will see Chukwuzubelu Umeozo from the Faculty of Management Sciences emerge as the best graduating student with a perfect CGPA of 5.0. The week-long convocation activities commenced on January 16.
