Nigerian Government Concludes Enugu Airport Concession with Aero Alliance

The Federal Government of Nigeria has finalized the concession agreement with Aero Alliance for the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu. The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, announced the agreement, emphasizing the transparent and lengthy process that led to this milestone.

The concession agreement, approved by the Federal Executive Council in July 2025, ensures job security for aviation workers, with no retrenchment or changes in employment terms. The agreement aims to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and passenger experience at the Enugu airport.
