Enugu Airport Concessionaire Signs MoU with Unions

Aero Alliance Limited, the concessionaire for Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with several aviation unions, including the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), and Aviation Professionals Association of Nigeria (ANAP). This MoU guarantees job security and preserves the status of employees affected by the concession process.

The signing took place in the presence of the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, who emphasized the importance of addressing outstanding issues surrounding the concession agreement to ensure no worker is unjustly displaced. Keyamo reiterated the commitment of the federal government to pursue reforms in the aviation sector while protecting the welfare and dignity of Nigerian workers.

The Ministry of Aviation, represented by Tunde Moshood, reaffirmed its dedication to engaging stakeholders to build a globally competitive and efficient aviation industry in Nigeria.
