FG Declares May 1st Public Holiday for Workers' Day

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially declared Friday, May 1st, as a public holiday to commemorate Workers' Day. This announcement was made by Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, on behalf of the federal government in a statement signed on Wednesday in Abuja by Magdalene Ajani, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.
