FG Inaugurates Committee for Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary Celebrations

The Federal Government of Nigeria has inaugurated a committee to plan and execute programs for Nigeria's upcoming 65th Independence Day anniversary. The Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) will be responsible for organizing various activities to commemorate this milestone.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, emphasized the importance of unity and patriotism in celebrating Nigeria's achievements and addressing the challenges the nation faces. The anniversary celebrations will kick off with a World Press Conference on September 25, followed by a series of events including a Juma Service, youth activities, historical art exhibitions, and a church service.

This initiative aims to inspire national pride and unity among Nigerians.
