FG Invites Small Business Owners to Apply for N20m Funding Opportunity Through SMEDAN's Pitch Competition

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), has launched the 2025 SMEDAN Pitch Competition offering a N20 million grant to five innovative and resilient entrepreneurs. The competition aims to promote innovation and enterprise development among business owners, providing a platform for showcasing ideas to a national audience of investors and policymakers.

Interested entrepreneurs must submit a two-minute video introducing their business and explaining how it aligns with the conference theme of building a future of innovation and resilience. Applications close on October 28, 2025.

John Enoh, the Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment, unveiled this initiative as part of efforts to boost entrepreneurship, strengthen industrial growth, and enhance Nigeria's economic competitiveness.
