Nigerian Government Launches 2nd Phase of Renewed Hope Job Scheme, Training 41,000 Citizens

The Nigerian government has launched the 2nd phase of the Renewed Hope job scheme, aiming to tackle unemployment and poverty. The ceremony, held at the new corporate headquarters of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Gudu, Abuja, saw the training of 41,000 Nigerians in various skill areas like ICT, renewable energy, agriculture, and more.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, emphasized the administration's commitment to creating mass employment opportunities. The initiative is part of efforts to uplift households and plant seeds of prosperity across the nation.

Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Dingyadi, highlighted the historic significance of the program in creating employment opportunities for Nigerians.
