FG Announces More Beneficiaries as It Invites Nigerians for Job Opening

The Federal Government has announced additional beneficiaries for the second phase of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Renewed Hope Employment Initiative. The Director General, Silas Agara, revealed that the number of beneficiaries has increased due to high interest and support from development partners.

The registration portal is now closed, with screening scheduled from August 12 to 22, and the final list of qualified applicants will be released on September 1 and 2. Training for approximately participants will begin in the first week of September, with resettlement upon completion.

Agara mentioned that at least four beneficiaries will be selected from each ward across the country, with financial support from cooperating firms. However, there is a budgetary limit, and higher intake is planned for 2026.

Additionally, the Federal Government, in collaboration with the Bank of Industry, is supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with a loan scheme worth N200 billion, benefiting businesses across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones.
