FG Launches National Essay Competition for Young Girls to Empower Leadership and Vocational Skills

The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched the National Girls Leadership Essay Competition, organized by IDG 2025, targeting young Nigerian females aged 10 to 20. The competition aims to promote leadership and vocational empowerment under the theme "Beyond Stereotype: Nigerian Girls Breaking Barriers." Participants are required to submit essays addressing the role of young girls in reshaping Nigeria's economic landscape through practical skillsets.

The top three winners will receive cash prizes and exclusive access to the Girls Future Conference (GFC2025). The submission deadline for essays is 28th September 2025.

This initiative seeks to empower young Nigerian girls and highlight their potential in addressing societal challenges through vocational skills.
