FG launches phase 2 of Creative Economy Development Fund

The Federal Government Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy has launched Phase 2 of the Creative Economy Development Fund (CEDF). The Special Adviser to the Minister, Nneka Ikem Anibeze, announced the initiative, encouraging interested Nigerians to apply through the official portal.

The CEDF aims to provide financial support, skills, and market opportunities to accelerate Nigeria's creative and cultural industries. Building on the success of Phase 1, which saw thousands of creatives and entrepreneurs apply for support, Phase 2 expands the scope to target businesses seeking growth, innovation, and job creation in the creative economy.

The streamlined application process and new interface of the official portal aim to make it easier for applicants to access funding and track their proposals. The initiative covers various creative sectors, ensuring inclusivity and sustainability in Nigeria's creative renaissance.

The CEDF's goal is to support businesses leveraging creativity and technology to deliver new cultural products and services, expand employment, and drive.
