Nigerian Government Launches Revenue Recovery Drive to Strengthen Fiscal Governance

The Federal Government of Nigeria has initiated a comprehensive revenue recovery exercise to improve fiscal governance. The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) launched the project in Abuja, aiming to address revenue leakages and align with President Bola Tinubu's agenda.

Dr. Moham Bello Shehu, the RMAFC Chairman, emphasized the commitment to ensuring that federal revenues are fully accounted for and remitted to the appropriate accounts.

The project involves consultations and strategic moves to enhance transparency, boost fiscal capacity, and improve revenue collection across all levels of government.
