FG Launches Unified Portal for Technical Education Management to Enhance Transparency and Efficiency

The Federal Government has launched a unified portal developed by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to modernize technical education management in Nigeria. The platform is part of a broader digital transformation agenda to enhance transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency in the technical vocational education and training (TVET) sector.

The Executive Secretary of NBTE, Idris Bugaje, highlighted the portal's key features and emphasized its role in transforming technical education administration. The Minister of State for Education, Suwaiba Said Ahmad, stressed the mandatory participation of polytechnics and technical institutions in the registration process by December 2025 to ensure transparency and efficiency in the sector.
