FG Orders Police to Bring Actress Doris Ogala to Court

The Federal Government of Nigeria has directed the Nigeria Police Force to produce actress Doris Ogala in court for charges filed against her under the Cybercrime Act. The Director of Public Prosecutions has requested assistance from the Inspector General of Police at the Zone 2 Headquarters in Onikan, Lagos, to ensure her appearance in the Federal High Court, Lagos, for case number FHC/L/220C/2026.

The charges, which include allegations of sharing nude private images of Pastor Chidi Okafor, founder of Grace Nation International (formerly known as Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries), also involve claims of spreading messages linked to rape ritual activities and a death. Additionally, Ogala is accused of circulating threatening content unless she received money.

The arraignment is set for April 14, 2026, and the Federal Government has filed four charges against her.
