FG Commits to Free Technical Education at Federal Colleges Nationwide

The Federal Government of Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to providing accessible technical education by fully funding every Federal Technical College (FTC) nationwide. The Director of Press and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Education, Mrs.

Folasade Boriowo, emphasized that tuition at these colleges is completely free, with the government covering all approved charges, including boarding, uniforms, textbooks, and more. Minister of Education, Dr.

Maruf Tunji Alausa, assured that the government will bear the full cost of tuition to ensure equal access for all students. Parents are urged to report any illegal charges to the Ministry.

This initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's agenda to prioritize Technical and Vocational Education.
