FG Supports Youth Engagement with NANS Ahead of Convention

The Federal Government of Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to youth engagement as it met with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), represented by Comrade Olushola Oladoja, on a strategic engagement at the Ministry's headquarters in Abuja. The Honourable Minister emphasized the government's dedication to initiatives that advance the welfare and development of Nigerian students.

The minister assured the NANS delegation that their proposals would be carefully reviewed in accordance with established government procedures. The meeting also highlighted the importance of dialogue and consultation in addressing issues affecting Nigerian students.

The NANS leadership, under Comrade Olushola Oladoja, expressed optimism about the partnership and the upcoming National Students’ Convention scheduled to take place in Abuja, which aims to unite student leaders from tertiary institutions across the country to discuss pressing student concerns. The Honourable Minister reiterated the government's readiness to collaborate with youth-led organizations to improve the future prospects of Nigerian youth.
