FG Revamps Education Curriculum for Basic, Secondary, and Technical Schools

The Federal Government of Nigeria has revised the curriculum for basic, secondary, and technical education to enhance learning outcomes and equip students with relevant skills for the global workforce. The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with key stakeholders including NERDC, UBEC, and NBTE, conducted the review.

The new framework aims to reduce content overload and provide quality, practical education. Changes include adjusting the number of subjects for primary, junior, senior secondary, and technical school students to optimize learning time.

The government assures that the rollout will be closely monitored to ensure a smooth transition across schools nationwide, emphasizing the commitment to quality education.
