Nigeria Seeks Global Collaboration to Combat Insecurity

The Nigerian government, through the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiy, has called for collaboration with foreign countries to tackle increasing insecurity challenges. This appeal was made during an event at the National Defence College (NDC) in Abuja, which involved participation from 34 nations.

Enikanolaiy highlighted the growing vulnerability of nations due to political and economic challenges, stressing the need for cooperation. The event also featured cultural exhibitions that celebrated diversity and mutual respect among nations.

Enikanolaiy noted that foreign students' participation reflects the friendly relations among nations and reinforces Nigeria's role in promoting international cooperation. Rear Admiral Abdullahi Ahmad emphasized the program's design to build strategic partnerships through cultural exchange, which includes food, music, and traditions, to strengthen relationships and address shared security challenges.

The event provided opportunities for participants to enhance human relationships and professional leadership training.
