FG to Launch Agro Industrial Business Hub in Abuja

The Federal Government of Nigeria is preparing to launch an Agro Industrial Business Hub in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Hon. Minister Idi Mukhtar Maiha emphasized the ministry's commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of the project.

The initiative involves collaboration with ABI Group and relevant stakeholders to develop and implement a mega livestock processing facility in Abuja. This announcement followed a high-level tripartite meeting aimed at improving market access and quality assurance within the livestock sector.

The meeting included representatives from various countries, and discussions focused on unifying quality assurance systems and addressing challenges such as visa issues for expatriates involved in the project. The ABI team, led by Ambassador Emmanuel Usman, expressed appreciation for the opportunity to participate in the training program that aims to enhance the livestock value chain in Nigeria.

The project is expected to streamline processes and strengthen operations within the livestock sector.
