Nigeria Addresses UK Migration Agreement Concerns

On a recent episode of Channels Television's Politics Today, Nigeria's Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, clarified the implications of a migration agreement signed during President Bola Tinubu's state visit to the UK. The agreement has faced criticism, with claims suggesting it would enable the UK to transfer foreign criminals seeking asylum to Nigeria.

Tunji-Ojo dismissed these claims, asserting that the agreement is centered on the status of Nigerians in the UK and is based on principles of reciprocity and international diplomacy.
