Nigeria Allocates N2.1 Trillion Revenue for September, Oil-Producing States Receive Boost

The Federal Government, states, and Local Government Areas in Nigeria shared a total of N2.1 trillion as revenue allocation for September. The allocation, disclosed by Bawa Mokwa, the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, was made at the end of the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting in Abuja.

The allocation included statutory allocations, Value Added Tax (VAT), and other levies. Oil-producing states received N134.96 billion from the 13% derivation of mineral revenue.

This allocation represented a 16% increase from the previous month, totaling N1.813 trillion.
