FAAC Shares N2.22 Trillion Among Federal, State, and LGAs for August

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has disbursed N2.22 trillion among Federal, State, and Local Governments for August 2025. The allocation, drawn from gross revenue, includes statutory revenue, taxes, VAT, and other levies.

The Federal Government received N1.02 trillion, while states and local governments shared N679.9 billion and N509.9 billion, respectively. Additionally, N173.5 billion was set aside for intervention refunds and cost of collection.

This distribution reflects an increase from the previous month, aiming to support government operations and services at all levels.
