FG, States, LGs Share N2.550 Trillion Revenue in June 2026

In June 2026, the Federal Government, States, and Local Governments shared a total revenue of N2.550 trillion, as reported by the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) during a meeting held in Abuja. The total distributable revenue comprised N1.809 trillion in statutory revenue and N740.724 billion from value-added tax (VAT).

The gross revenue available for distribution was N4.500 trillion, with deductions for cost of collection amounting to N160.744 billion and a transfer refund of N1.789 trillion. The gross statutory revenue received in June 2026 was N3.700 trillion, which was higher than the N2.651 trillion received in the previous month.

The VAT revenue also saw an increase, with N799.746 billion available in June, compared to N743.688 billion in May. The Federal Government received N923.438 billion, State Governments received N838.208 billion, and Local Government Councils received N591.390 billion from the total distribution.
