FAAC Allocates N2.001tn Revenue to FG, States, LGs for July 2025

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) disbursed a total of N2.001 trillion in revenue for July 2025 to the Federal Government, states, and local government councils. The allocation, made in August 2025, included statutory sources, VAT, and other revenue streams.

The breakdown showed the Federal Government receiving the highest share, with states and local governments also benefiting. The revenue distribution considered factors like mineral revenue sharing and VAT pooling.

Despite a slight decrease in gross statutory revenue from the previous month, the overall allocation process aimed to support the financial needs of the different tiers of government in Nigeria.
