Nigeria to Honor Aviation Legends in Centenary Celebration

The Federal Government of Nigeria will honor distinguished aviation pioneers on December 1, 2025, as the country marks 100 years of flight. Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo announced the event, which will take place at the Bola Tinubu International Conference Center in Abuja.

The ceremony will celebrate industry trailblazers such as Chief Gabriel Igbinedion and the late Alhaji Ahmadu Dankabo, founders of Okada Air and Kabo Air, respectively. The event aims to recognize the pivotal role of aviation in Nigeria's economy and attract key stakeholders from the aviation sector.
