Nigeria Validates Revised Gender Policy in Agriculture to Drive Inclusion and Productivity

The Federal Government of Nigeria has validated a revised gender policy in agriculture to enhance inclusivity and productivity in the sector. The policy, part of the Strategic Action Plan 2025-2030, aims to address gender barriers and promote equitable access to resources.

The workshop organized by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security in Abuja brought together various stakeholders, including ActionAid Nigeria and SWOFON. The policy, developed through extensive consultations, focuses on ensuring equitable participation and resource allocation for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
