NCAA Advocates for Women's Advancement in Aviation

Barrister Bukola Teriba, the Lagos Region Manager of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), stated that the Federal Government's policies present a significant opportunity for women to aspire to higher positions in the aviation industry. Speaking at the Women in Aviation International (WAI) 2025 award night in Lagos, Teriba affirmed that Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration has created an environment for Nigerian women to showcase their capabilities across various managerial positions in different agencies and ministries within the aviation sector.

She encouraged women to take leadership roles and highlighted the importance of empowerment, stating that women should not be left behind in the industry. Former Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Nnamdi Udoh, emphasized the need for women in aviation to adopt a work-life balance, noting the challenges of the profession, which requires precision, discipline, and resilience.

He advocated for a supportive workplace culture that promotes performance without glorifying overwork.
