FHA Mortgage Bank Disburses N27 Billion to Nigerians, Plans National Expansion

FHA Mortgage Bank's Managing Director revealed the disbursement of N27 billion to 3,427 Nigerians during the commissioning of the new corporate headquarters in Abuja. The bank, established in 1997, collaborates with the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria to provide housing solutions across the country.

Notably, the bank has facilitated access to mortgages through the PENCOM retirement savings window, enabling Nigerians to own homes. The bank aims to become a national bank, expand to 20 branches nationwide, and grow its customer base and loan portfolio.

The Board Chairman emphasized the bank's commitment to aiding Nigerians in homeownership.
