FHSA and NSPRI Collaborate to Boost Food Processing in Nigeria with Climate-Smart Equipment Training

The Food Health System Advisory (FHSA) and Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI) are working together to advance food processing in Nigeria by providing climate-smart equipment training. The initiative aims to boost the value addition in agro-processing by enhancing the skills of local manufacturers.

The program specifically targets female-led food processors to address challenges related to equipment quality, energy costs, and access to appropriate technology. Oluwafemi Yerumoh and Michael Ayodel Omodara play key roles in leading the training efforts to support the growth of women-led food businesses nationwide.
