D’Tigress Ready for 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers

Rena Wakama, the head coach of D’Tigress, has declared that the team is prepared for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup qualifiers. The African champions arrived in Villeurbanne, Lyon, for the tournament, which begins on Monday.

Last week, Wakama announced a roster of 12 players who will represent Nigeria in the competition. D’Tigress will kick off their campaign against Colombia on Wednesday.

Coach Wakama emphasized that the tournament provides an opportunity for the team to test themselves against some of the best teams in the world, which is crucial for their preparation.
